Systems Engineer

Primary responsibilities include providing premier Tier 4 engineering support for the global enterprise hosting platform infrastructure. You are responsible for supporting the Windows operating system and Citrix Desktop environments. You need to be knowledgeable in multiple current technology areas to include: client/server systems, Citrix XenApp 7.15, networking hardware, protocols and administration, and system integration across multi-tiered IT environments. Specific tasks include: • Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. • Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. • Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow. • Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures. • Produces engineering solutions, automated when feasible, that may be transitioned to an O&M organization. • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow. • Analyze and study complex system requirements. • Apply the concept of operations set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of information systems across a major sector of the organization. • Develop analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions. • Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. • Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. • Other duties as assigned.

Systems Engineer

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer/Administrator to join our team in a fast-paced dynamic Enterprise environment. The candidate will have the experience necessary to help work on our existing infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise with infrastructure and network topology of the customer, managing trouble tickets, diagnosing problems, and recommending and/or implement solutions. You will provide Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013, Domino administration and Tier 3 support, and additional guidance on all upgrades and infrastructure changes to improve stability and performance. The ideal candidate for this position can prioritize mission critical tasks, coordinate and troubleshoot complex issues both locally and in the field with email routing, infrastructure connectivity, and server configuration so that updates and other maintenance tasks do not impede daily operations. You will be responsible for maintaining smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordinating with network administrators. You will also support the migration from Common Store to E-Vault and moving the platform into an AWS environment. Duties may include tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, allocating mass storage space, performing trade studies and making recommendations for purchase of hardware and software.

Systems Engineer

System Engineer candidate will provide end-to-end system lifecycle support for all systems within the PKI Services Branch. Must have an extensive background in PKI Technology including Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP), Secure Hash Algorithm 1 & 2 (SHA1 & SHA2), HSMs, system engineering, systems architecture, application deployment, Windows OS and Linux OS. Responsibilities include: • Identify system integrity issues and solutions for the full system life cycle from concept to disposal. • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. • Ensure designs are compatible with the architecture and allocates requirements to segments. Tasks • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. • Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer-related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. • Test, maintain, and monitor programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of programs and systems. • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow. Systems Engineer

The Customer is seeking a Systems Engineer to support business operations transition and innovation within the Customer’s cloud-based environments. The Systems Engineer will work with multiple projects within the Customer’s production, development, and test environments, and will additionally work on the development and refinement of strategic systems planning, business information planning, and cost analysis for the Customer’s technical systems. The Systems Engineer will also provide support for virtual and hardware-based networking solutions, including architecture, management, and auditing/reporting. The Systems Engineer must have an understanding of the big data challenge. Systems Engineer

This is a challenging position for a Systems Engineer to work on a highly visible, consultation service team providing encryption, security engineering expertise, and guidance to project teams and system implementers. The selected candidate will focus on the systems engineering/cyber security engineering related tasks. The selected candidate will communicate with team leads and senior leadership, assess changes, and rapidly change direction in support of new and/or changing requirements. This effort will address a variety of activities including, but not limited to: • Providing system security architecture, design, and cryptographic service implementation advice. • Assisting teams in understanding and addressing system security issues identified during the assessment process. • Investigating new technologies, as well as Type 2 and commercial cryptographic products.
