Systems Administrator

204 - As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for providing Tier 2 service desk systems administration support for a 24x7 message and communications systems. Your responsibilities will include the following: • Resolving remote hardware and software issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure communication channels are operating, as specified (this is accomplished through analysis and resolution of anomalies ranging from user errors, systems and application errors, and/or infrastructure connectivity) • Supporting the client’s communications systems, networks, and associated application infrastructure to complete the following: o Maintain message traffic o Research and analyze telecommunications activity associated within the technical areas in the telecommunications center o Analyze traffic reports and diagnostic reports to determine network logic and malfunction trends, troubleshoots problems, and recommend improvements to enhance performance • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing the application and hardware systems associated with a global communications and message systems • Providing critical services in support of the management, monitoring, and operating a 24-hour support environment, including holidays and weekends

Systems Administrator

298 - As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasking associated with maintaining operations of a mission critical Tier 3 enterprise computing center. You will also, serve as a focal point for activities involving operations and maintenance support of a large enterprise 24x7 server infrastructure by providing server hardware installations, relocations, and removals, as well as service provider installation oversight to ensure best practice and data center standards are met. Your responsibilities will include the following: • Supporting day-to-day data center operational needs with a focus on server installations, removals, cabling, break fix customer remote hands support, and in rack redundant power connections • Ensuring data center policies and procedures are followed by customers and service providers, while in data center • Performing equipment verifications and generating reports based on findings • Creating and maintaining equipment databases for tracking • Installing network cabling, power cables, network switches, and redundant power devices • Technical documentation • Logistical support

Systems Administrator

323 - As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for performing systems and server administration, operations, and maintenance support of a large enterprise 24x7 server infrastructure within MS Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 environments. Your responsibilities will include the following: • Implementing baseline changes, responding to change requests and incident reports, performing technical server evaluations and analysis, and troubleshooting or providing problem resolution for all supported servers in response to help desk tickets • Providing 24x7 operational support and maintenance, as well as server build • Resolving trouble tickets • Supporting customer in the development of a dedicated server build report, as well as an internal build report • Creating and/or updating Asset Management records • Responsible for integrity of asset management records • Server failures, full system outage • Performing server checklist • Restoring file and data information • Performing operating system software updates and/or upgrades • Monitoring and/or supporting server backups • Assessing server loads • Communicating outage and/or degradation of server to management • Performing server and storage capacity planning for complex and critical systems • Planning for transition of the development and/or production environment to new technology • Recommending and planning server recapitalization • Performing server performance tuning • Baselining and forecasting server performance data and tuning server hardware and software configurations • Utilizing system software to monitor the performance of system files • Managing system data to maintain performance efficiencies • Conducting server diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems, and provide technical assistance

Systems Administrator

462 - As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for capacity planning, providing support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers. You will also, manage server infrastructure and any processes related to these systems, as well as provide support to servers, including day-to-day maintenance, monitoring, and problem resolution for all related problems. Additionally, you will provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems, and escalate and communicate status to Sponsor’s management and internal customers of priority and high-visibility issues. Your responsibilities will include the following: • Managing the incident Queue for the Division’s tasks • Creating manager’s check list • Checking status of Tivoli TEC console • Logging into the Tivoli Production TMR via PUTTY • Creating and removing user accounts in TEP • Creating pertinent documents for the group • Ensuring monitoring exists on servers • Providing Tivoli installation instruction to users • Changing monitoring thresholds • Creating documentation, providing detailed instructions on how to perform certain Tivoli tasks or function, and adding to a Shared Directory • Attending Scrums meetings and PRB/ERB • Pager duty week
