Windows Systems Engineer

Provide Technical Leadership to Tier 3 O&M Support organization. The team consists of System Administrators and Engineers supporting Windows and Domino servers on multiple networks. Over the next year additional services will be transitioned over to the team to include SKYPE and exchange. This position will be the expert focusing on technical aspects of 4 key areas needed for the organizations success: - Ensure the work we have today is completed using best technological solutions available - Assist in the transformation of the team from stove piped groups, to an overarching O&M team by focusing on technical skills and tools needed - Expert knowledge to guide team and customer leadership on technology changes - Expert representative for POSB in project/product development and through problem management process General Job Description: - Resolve incidents, complete activities and change request tasking based on negotiated delivery dates and defined SLA’s - Perform Skill matrix analysis for new products and services - Perform gap analysis, providing recommendations on way forward - Focus on customer 3 -5 year strategic growth/restructure plan - Participate in TEM’s, project/product turn over, and complex problem resolution - Maintain team engagement in the product life cycle - Act as the liaison between engineers, other service providers and the team - Review current technical processes to validate best practices are being followed - Review procedures such as escalation and recall to ensure compliance to customer identified requirements - Recommend training for team members to maintain a competitive advantage and keep up with changing technologies - Encourage collaboration between teams in all areas of the organization - Assist in identifying the right resource to perform special assignments and deliverables - Assist in mapping undocumented processes - Work with PM and Government Oversight to market and educate the organization on the team - Provide input for resource recognition when applicable - Assist in distributing information to the team (New processes, expectations, or corporate news) Primary communication provided by PM or Government oversight, but re-enforcement communications and reminders through multiple methods - Backup for PM

We are a team of 3 Engineers looking for a Senior Windows Engineer who is familiar with software development tools, scripting and programming. We are moving to the Cloud so we need your expertise in performing server and software upgrades and troubleshooting new and existing software.
