The Sponsor seeks a front end developer who enjoys working in a fast paced, innovative, mission critical environment with huge impact. The Sponsor seeks a full stack developer with emphasis on front end and UX/UI. Emphasis will be on a developer who wants to lead, come up with innovative solutions and solve difficult technical challenges. A developer who requires a very structured environment will not enjoy working here, the candidate must be a self-starter. The division uses 2 or 4 week agile sprint planning cycles. All are encouraged to think outside the box and take initiative. The division provides support with enterprise search and analytic applications. Team members work in a multitasking, quick-paced, dynamic, process-improvement environment that requires experience with the principles of biometric technology, large-scale (Terabytes) database and application development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation. The division directly supports data scientists and analysts by designing and engineering systems to meet exponential increases in digital data. The Sponsor has several fiscal years’ worth of deliverables due to the Sponsor's partner on high visibility projects.

*** OPEN TO ALL SKILL LEVELS******* This is an open requirement for a Software Developer. Vendors shall propose candidates who possess the knowledge, skills and can execute all duties/tasks and responsibilities as listed in the labor category description. Additionally, the candidate must meet all mandatory skills specifically listed in conjunction, or in addition to, the details in the labor category description. The desired skills are a list of preferable skills the candidate may possess but are not required to execute the work. Before proposing a candidate, vendors should take note of the overall work description in order to gauge what skill level is being sought by the customer as well as the trade-off standard for the position. The Sponsor is looking for a motivated Software Developer to join this mission critical office. This high visibility office is in need of a self-starter who will work hand-in-hand with senior managers and other senior technical personnel. The Software Developer will work with both the Sponsor and the Sponsor’s partners and customers to coordinate the development and management of analytic solutions and tools for the Sponsor project. The candidate will work with a medium size team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), application architects, senior managers, and operations personnel to develop, design and implement Sponsor focused IT solutions. She/he will work with technology, such as Amazon Web Services, DEVOPS, test defined development, virtualized environments, web services, and access control capabilities. She/he will work on at least 1 to 2 new development projects simultaneously with at least 2-3 operations and maintenance (O&M) projects.
