Program Manager

A new program for the Sponsor, focused on the future of Social Media in analysis, seeks a proven, Senior PM to support Sponsor leadership. This position involves direct support to the Sponsor's Social Media Program Manager and is a unique opportunity to help envision the future through development of new programs, testing and evaluating commercial technologies, and developing new best practices The candidate will be responsible for providing the Sponsor support in planning, developing, communicating, implementing, and overseeing the program. The candidate will assist the Sponsor in working programmatic issues and suggest viable solutions and should be prepared to provide recommendations, provide support to pilot programs, develop artifacts, schedules, feedback mechanisms, execute demos, and help lead focus groups. While there are other team members to assist, duties include: set agendas, track assigned actions, facilitate control gates, risk analysis, and governance deliverables for the team as well as internal and external customer/stakeholders, support the group’s governance process, facilitate technical and programmatic discussions, track status of major project deliverables, organize meetings on use cases, testing, evaluation, and related topics, capture and disseminate meeting notes and track action items, ensuring they are completed. Also, this will include assisting with guidance on appropriately completing documentation artifacts, deliverables, and overall program input/management, conducting research to respond to actions or to prepare meetings, conferences, working groups, and/or technical exchanges, ensuring coordination and information flow occur between all programs, stakeholders and organizational managers to include responding to data calls. Other support will include preparing briefings, assist with capture of minutes from ad hoc meetings, and formulation of talking points.

Certifications: 1. PMP Project Management Professional Desired or Equivalent Experience 2. Agile (There are multiples out there and having one of them is all that is required) or Equivalent Experience
